If you thought the ass-whooping that Kelly Clarkson gave to Clive Davis today was bad, it’s about to get a whole lot worse! For Davis, that is.

Sources say Clarkson is “strongly considering” the option of suing the music mogul after he, according to Kelly, spread “false information” about her and her music in his memoir, The Soundtrack of My Life, which hit store shelves today. In it, Davis goes on a barrage of accusations about the American Idol winner which we received exclusive excerpts of that you can read here.

Kelly has since gone on to receive harsh criticism from some fans for her open letter to Davis, however, she has also received quite a bit of support – including some from fellow musicians such as Ellie Goulding.

So will or won’t she sue? “Absolutely,” says our source, however adding, “Right now she’s just enjoying some time off and planning her wedding.” (She is set to wed Brandon Blackstock this fall.) “She’ll do what she feels necessary to clear her name when the time is right.”

Brandon Blackstock took to Twitter last night, something he’s rarely done since becoming engaged (and possibly already married) to Kelly Clarkson, and he had some not-so-kind words to share with with one outspoken fan of the popstar.

@H_Nicole_Young sent Blackstock a barrage of tweets late yesterday, and while the majority of them have since been deleted, we were still able to get a general idea of what they were about judging by a few other tweets from the user; ie: accusing Kelly of being a lesbian and a tobacco lover, comments about her weight, amongst other things.

Accusations and rumors such as those swirl around celebrities all the time – this is nothing new. It was Brandon’s response, however, that left us many other fans of the American Idol winner stunned. In a Rihanna-style attack, Blackstock responded with the following:

Personally, being the author of this article, it is my opinion that under no circumstance is it okay for a man to call a woman a “bitch”, which is exactly what Brandon did in this case. Like a coward, Brandon has since deleted his verbally-abusive-in-nature tweets and blamed Blake Shelton, whom he manages, for the outlandish, angry messages on the social media platform, claiming the country star “hacked” him. Hmm, isn’t that always the age-old excuse?

Sounds more like damage control to us! If this is the kind of guy KC is marrying and he can barely hold his temper online, one has to wonder what he’s like behind the scenes and if his anger gets the best of him in other ways? It’s a scary thought. We can’t imagine Kelly will have anything to say on the matter, either, as she has let the Blackstock clan easily brainwash & influence her over the years.

It appears as though Bradley Cooper’s heart is already on the mend after splitting from Zoe Saldana for the second time over the Christmas holidays, as he’s reportedly been in touch with Britney Spears via text message. Yes, the Britney Spears.

The ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ actor (who was just recently nominated for a Golden Globe and is even getting Oscar buzz for his role as Pat Solitano) is said to have been exchanging text messages with the pop star as recently as New Year’s Eve.

This comes just as rumors have been running rampant that Spears is on the verge of splitting from fiance Jason Trawick. Britney’s closest friends & family worry her alleged rocky relationship with Trawick may send her on a downward spiral much like the one she went on five years ago.

But it may not be romance brewing for Cooper and Spears. “With the way things are with Jason right now, she just needs a friend, and that’s what he’s [Bradley] been to her as she has been to him.” The pair are also not strangers to each other. In November, Spears filmed a secret scene in Las Vegas for the Hangover 3 according to the folks over at ONTD!, which just so happens to star Cooper.

According to Page Six, Bradley Cooper & Zoe Saldana have blown out the flame on their relationship for the second time. The couple originally dated for 3 months before splitting in May last year, but rekindled their romance in September before once again calling it quits just a few days before Christmas.

“Zoe had planned to spend the holidays with Bradley and his family in Europe. They all were going to Paris, but things didn’t work out,” says a source. Zoe wound up spending the holidays with friends and rang in 2013 in Miami, while Bradley spent the holidays and the New Year with his mother, Gloria.

So who broke up with who? A source says the while recent break-up was amicable, Zoe “talked down” to Bradley a lot. “They weren’t on the same maturity level and she had a bad attitude about any and everything. It didn’t really go over well with him.”

Perhaps the third time will be the charm?

While there have been plenty of rumors (and plenty of denials to go along with said rumors,)Peter Facinelli’s alleged lover (and the woman who broke news of his divorce) has finally come forward and decided to speak out on what she describes having been her own “personal nightmare.”

It was in March that Facinelli split from actress and Beverly Hills 90210 star Jennie Garth, with many media outlets suggesting that an affair may have taken place between Facinelli and a Canadian woman during the filming of Eclipse, the third installment of the Twilight saga, inVancouver.

Now, Brianne Chantal, the alleged other woman has come forward to set the record straight and agreed to answer questions from none other than Nik Richie of TheDirty.com.

Q. How did you come to learn about Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth filing for divorce? It was you, after all, who broke the news of their split a good 24 hours before any major media outlets did. That’s a huge deal.

A. I have friends in the media and I have friends who act. Obviously I’m not going to name names, but when you’re around people you hear things, you’re told things. I didn’t know whether or not it was true but at the same time I also knew that the person who told me this information had no reason to lie to me. So I went with it.

Q. So I guess the big question is, how did things get as out of control as they did? How did it come that you wound up being the woman accused of derailing a marriage?

A. I was writing for the website Scallywag & Vagabond at the time. I trusted the two individuals behind that site, Christopher Koulouris and Kathryn McDermott. Knowing the people I knew, this story was one of the biggest…if not the biggest story published on their website. I was the first person to break it, like you said, and it was a big “ratings grab,” so to speak. I guess you could say all the web traffic Chris and Kate were getting from it, it went to their heads a bit. They literally demanded that I involve myself in the story, and threatened that if I didn’t? They would make my life hell. Little did I know the hell they were about to unleash on me would change my life forever.

Q. In an article, Koulouris and McDermott claim you were fired from the blog. You deny that.

A. Chris and Kate claim I was “fired” for “refusing to out myself” as Peter’s other woman, but…obviously I wasn’t the other woman, and so I wasn’t going to cave and do what they wanted. They were trying to blackmail me, essentially. And how can one be “fired” from a “job” they never got paid to do in the first place? I was one of many writers on that website who was writing there for free. I got tired of the demands they were making and ultimately left. I didn’t want to be a part of that mess. I joined there on my own free will and left there on my own free will.

Q. That’s when Christopher Koulouris and Kathryn McDermott of Scallywag & Vagabond started publishing defamatory articles about Peter Facinelli using your name? Even went as far as photo-shopping false e-mails that they claim came from you, which, by the way, we have had our own team of experts look at those e-mails and they agree that they are photo-shopped.

A. Yeah, as soon as I left he started publishing stuff about Peter and Jennie using my name. Scallywag uses WordPress so when I left they never deleted my account. I guess so that if anything happened to him legally (ie: defamation) he figured it couldn’t be traced back to him. Chris and Kate wanted to sensationalize the story, and me, with the ties I have to certain media folks and the friends I have in the business, didn’t like that I didn’t want to help them get more traffic. That’s what it was always all about – web hits. He wrote things about me from alleging that I was the other woman, to alleging that I was wanted by the FBI which is absolutely laughable. Basically because I didn’t do what they wanted. They did everything in their power to try and ruin my reputation.

Q. We’ve heard that you and others who have been unfairly targeted by Christopher and Kate of Scallywag & Vagabond are now looking at taking legal action. Is that true?

A. All I will say is yes. These people need to realize that you can’t just sit and bully someone online or write whatever you want about someone and get away with it. Granted, it happens a lot in this day and age but if I have any say in it then they’re going to be made as examples for other bloggers and bullies out there who feel like this is okay, and they’re going to be held accountable. It’ll take some time getting everything together, but it’ll be worth it in the end. I’ve also previously spoken with Peter’s attorney by e-mail.

Q. How has this changed your life?

A. How hasn’t this changed my life is the better question. I’ve been wrongfully accused of so many things and now have to deal with cyber bullies on a regular basis because of it. It’s unreal. I have a thick skin so I can handle it, but it’s so easy for anyone to write something about another person online – even worse when other people start to believe it. People are like sheep, it’s a mob mentality. That’s what is the most bothersome. Not the fact that things are written, because it happens to everyone, but more so the fact that people are stupid enough to believe everything written about you just because Google says it’s true. The joys of the Internet, right? Anyone can say anything and get away with it these days. That needs to change. There need to be tougher laws against this sort of thing.

Q. What would you say to Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth, or to those who’ve been giving them a hard time over their divorce?

A. Leave them alone. I know that as a blogger, myself, that’s a bit of a hypocritical thing to say, but seriously. Leave them be. All I did was break the story on their divorce and that was all it was ever supposed to be – my name wasn’t supposed to be used as someone else’s way of getting attention. But it happened, and it hurt not only me, but them in the process. It hurts just being a normal person and someone who isn’t a celebrity…so I can’t even imagine what it’s like for them.

After 35 years together, Australian rock band INXS have called it quits. This comes on the heels of the band performing their final show together alongside Matchbox Twenty last night in Perth, where INXS members Garry Gary Beers, Andrew Farriss, Jon Farriss, Tim Farriss and Kirk Pengilly announced that it would be their last performance.

The band first formed in 1977 and for 20 years were fronted by Michael Hutchence on lead vocals, achieving international success with a series of hit singles such as “What You Need”, “Need You Tonight”, “Devil Inside”, “New Sensation” and “Suicide Blonde”. However, in 1997 tragedy struck the band when Hutchence took his own life. After his death, the band did not perform for several years.

In 2005, INXS participated in a reality television series, broadcast worldwide, culminating in the selection of their new lead singer, Canadian J.D. Fortune, and the release of “Pretty Vegas” and “Afterglow” as singles, and the album Switch, which once again garnered the band worldwide attention and success. However, in 2011 the band and Fortune announced that they had mutually agreed to go their own separate ways and pursue different artistic projects. Later, Fortune would deny that their separation was amicable and go on to say, “I had no idea. I woke up August 18 and I had to find out from their web site [that I was no longer in the band] which, to this day, I still find bizarre.” Fortune was then replaced by Irish singer Ciaran Gribbin.

On INXS announcing their split, a seemingly bitter Fortune says, “This is how it ends now…for them…xo.”

Well, it looks like Sam Lutfi might be headed to appeals court because a judge just TOSSED OUT his case against Britney Spears parents, Lynne & Jamie Spears, citing Lutfi did not present enough evidence for the trial to proceed.

Upon the end of the trial, a Lawyer for Lynne (who was not in court today) called her up and yelled, “We won!” into the phone.

Sad news to report. Kelly Clarkson’s dog Joplin, a Miniature Labradoodle that she adopted last year, has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

It was just two months ago when Joplin had a health scare which caused the first American Idol to sharing the news with fans on Facebook, “I had the worst day yesterday because my little baby Joplin, one my dogs, almost died and I was a wreck. He is now at a vet hospital and doing better. Please say a prayer for him.”

At time time it was believed that Joplin would be okay. However, at a meet & greet before Clarkson’s show in Adelaide, South Australia last night, she broke the news to fan Liam Magrath that Joplin had in fact been given a diagnosis of cancer.

Magrath says Clarkson did not go into anymore detail about Joplin or the diagnosis, only to say that the pup is “resting comfortably and has a lot of love.”
